We receive and adopt the essential tenets of the Reformed faith as expressed in the Confessions of our church as authentic and reliable expositions of what Scripture leads us to believe and do.
We are dedicated to the sanctity of life and the preservation of the family, the preaching of the Word and the calling of all men and women to the Gospel.
We are a Confessing Church. As such, in August 2001 we adopted and now confess the following resolution:
That Jesus Christ alone is Lord of all and the only way to salvationThat Holy Scripture is the Triune God's revealed Word, the Church's only infallible rule of faith and lifeGod's people are called to holiness in all aspects of life. This includes honoring the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman, the only relationship within which sexual activity is appropriateWe therefore announce our commitment as a Confessing Church and we encourage all Presbyterians who share these historic Chrisitan convictions to:
Renew their individual commitments to the above confessionsUrge their Session and Presbytery to affirm these confessions and to declare that they will not ordain, install or employ in any minsitry position any person who will not affirm themEngage in fervent prayer for our Presbyterian Church USA and its leaders
