Rev. G. Richard Vogeley
Interim Pastor
Pastor Vogeley....or "Rick" as he is known to his friends, is a native of Pittsburgh, PA. He received his B.A. Degree from Grove City College, PA in 1968, and his Master of Divinity from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, KY in 1971. He was ordained to full time ministry at his home church, Hebron Presbyterian, Pgh., PA in 1971. He went on to earn a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Luther Rice Theological Seminary, Atlanta, GA in 1979.

Mrs. Susan Allen
Commissioned Lay Pastor
Sue Allen grew up in the Mercer area and has always enjoyed the beauty of Western Pennsylvania. Sue and her husband, Dave, are blessed to have five grown children and ten grandchildren. They enjoy living on a small farm nestled in the woods were they have started a new venture by raising alpacas. Please stop by if you're in the neighborhood!
Sue's decision to follow Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior has been the most important decision she has ever made. Christ's love and acceptance for Sue has transformed her life. Because of this life changing experience Sue is passionate about helping others know how much they are loved and valued by God.

Mrs. Laurie Ruhlman
Youth Director
Laurie Ruhlman is Bethany's Youth Director. She has been married to her fantastic and dedicated husband Dave for almost 27 years. Laurie and Dave have four daughters, Monica, Crystal, Grace and Amy. Laurie’s vision for the Youth program is: to prepare area teens, grades 7 through 12, to acknowledge Christ as Lord of their lives, to serve others, to endure and overcome the world's views, and to lead others to the hope and authority of Jesus Christ. Also, her prayer is that our teenagers live in such a way as to be an example and a living source of Jesus to others.

Mrs. Nancy Thompson
Children's Ministry Director
Born and raised down the road in New Wilmington, PA, Bethany’s director of children’s ministries, Mrs. Nancy Thompson, is a retired school teacher of the Mercer district where she taught 1st and 2nd grade for 37 years. Nancy has a bachelor of science in education from Edinboro University, and lives with her husband Dennis in Mercer. Nancy and Dennis have two grown children, David and Missy. And two grandchildren, Samantha and Dominic. Upon retirement from public education, Nancy was called to fulfill the role of director of children’s ministries at Bethany because of her heart for teaching and her genuine desire to see children brought up in the love of Christ.

Mrs. Gerri Weaver
Organist/Music Director
Gerri is a lifelong resident of the Kennard area north of Greenville and lives there with her husband, Gerald. She enjoys spending time with her children who are grown and her grandchildren. Her daughter and family live in Grove City while her son and family live in Butler. She has played the piano and organ from a very young age and her minstry as an organist and choir director began at her home church, Kennard United Methodist Church, when she was a young adult. Gerri has continued to serve as a church musician throughout her adult life in Greenville area churches.
